Hoosier Agri-Matic, Inc. is currently seeking a qualified person for a Millwright position.
Candidate must be proficient in stick welding and cutting torch operations. Ability to “cut & fit” steel as needed for task at hand is a must. A Valid driver’s license is required and candidate must be willing to acquire a simple Class B CDL.
Examples of Duties:
- Construct, assemble, and repair, grain handling, grain storage & grain conditioning systems, machinery, and equipment as well as industrial maintenance duties
- Welding, fabricating, cutting torch, and grinding as well as other construction tools
- Fabricate transitions, bracing and structural supports
- Perform other duties, as assigned
- Keep work area neat, clean, and free of debris
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1-2 years Stick Welding experience
- Must be highly safety conscious and understand and comply with Company/job safety requirements (O.S.H.A.)
- Truthful, honest, reliable, accurate, and willing to accept responsibility for actions
- Self-starter, strong trouble-shooting skills, able to take orders as directed
- Takes pride in craftsmanship
- Familiarity with proper lifting and rigging techniques
- Must be able to read prints and written instructions as well as follow verbal directions as required to perform duties and responsibilities
- Ability to climb and work in the air at heights up to 150’
